GTA 6 Is Taking Over Miami: Inside the Vice City Promo Blitz
Wrapped cars with Leonida plates, a Vice City blimp, banner planes, Wynwood murals, and a Miami Heat theme night — Rockstar is turning the real Miami into Vice City ahead of November 19.
Miami is becoming Vice City. With GTA 6's November 19 launch just over a month out, Rockstar's real-world marketing has rolled into South Florida — and the real city is dressing up as the game.
The confirmed moves:
Wynwood Walls — the famous street-art district — partnered with Rockstar to give Miami-Dade residents free admission through 2028, with 10 GTA VI murals on view until January 1. It's the kind of activation only Rockstar would do: instead of a billboard, they just painted the city.
And the Miami Heat are hosting a "Night in Vice City" theme night on November 18 — launch eve, the night before the game drops.
The fan-spotted sightings (reported, not confirmed by Rockstar):
- Goodyear's Wingfoot Three blimp, decked out in Vice City livery, reportedly flew from Ohio down to Pompano Beach — with fan photos to back it up
- GTA VI branding lit up on Hard Rock Stadium's screens during a Dolphins game
- Wrapped cars with Leonida plates, banner planes, and more Wynwood murals across the district
Put together, the pattern is unmistakable. Vice City isn't just in the game anymore — it's landing in the real Florida, one blimp and one mural at a time.
Grand Theft Auto VI launches November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The PC release date remains unconfirmed.
